Hourly Consulting

These two options are intended for those of you who are new to children’s wear. They’re the best way to save time, money and aggravation before you have samples made, start production, build website or design a logo.

Children’s Business Class Series

$500/class

Email me to book now>>

With other industry veterans, I have developed a comprehensive introduction to the children’s clothing and accessories business. Through a series of phone and Skype meetings, you will learn how to lay a solid foundation for your business. The series spans branding, product development, sales, sourcing, production, marketing, PR, order processing and collections.

The No. 1 mistake emerging designers make is jumping in without understanding how the industry works. This results in costly mistakes. This series allows you to get your questions answered. Even the ones you didn’t know to ask.

Each class is conducted one-on-one and lasts roughly two hours. And in addition to the class itself, you receive:

• An outline of the topics covered during class
• One 20-minute follow-up call to clarify any points you’re not clear on
• Access to the additional resources available in the members-only section of calethacrawford.com
• 10 percent off subsequent ongoing contracts with the consultant who taught your course. Good for up to 6 months after the class date.

Interested in learning more about branding, PR, sales, credit, production, design or retail management? Learn more about each class here.

Ongoing Relationships

These options are ideal for those already in business, who are launching their lines, need help taking their companies to the next level or have run out of steam trying to do everything themselves.

The No. 1 mistake business owners make is mentally staying in start-up mode. When you’re just starting out you tend to do everything yourself out of necessity. The problem is you’ll reach a point where you won’t be able to grow that way. You don’t have all of the necessary experience or the time to do everything. That’s where I come in.

Per project

I work with clients in one of two ways: per project or by retainer. Per project is based on specific action items. This arrangement is ideal for one-time tasks like providing copy for your website.

Retainer

Retainer relationships are based on scope of work, performed on an ongoing basis. This might include something like social media management. Retainer contracts are 6-month commitments unless otherwise explicitly stated in the contract.

All fees are based on the services you require.
