Marketing Peruvian-Made Children’s Wear in the US

caletha crawford at the peruvian trade commission presentation
In March 2015, I was invited to Peru by the Peruvian Trade Commission to speak on a panel about doing business in the United States. It was my second trip to Peru. The first was to attend the Peru Moda trade show.

The audience consisted of approximately 80 Peruvian manufacturers and factory owners, and my presentation focused on how to market a children’s wear brand here. I began by explaining the importance of having a brand story and then moved on to how to amplify that message to potential customers through trade and consumer marketing.

CACG ENK Exhibitor Seminar

Children's Apparel Consulting Group at the ENK Children's Club Trade Show

My colleagues and I from the Children’s Apparel Consulting Group presented our third exhibitor seminar at the March 2015 ENK Children’s Club show. Since we launched this event with ENK, we’ve opened it up to all show exhibitors, rather than just new companies. Along with the CACG newsletter ENK sends out prior to each show, this regular event is designed to help exhibitors get the most out of their trade show investment. Along with myself, Christine McCarthy and Bruce Scheck, our newest member, Charlotte Guess, joined the panel, discussing design. Look for our next seminar, which will be held on Monday, August 3rd at 8 am.

ENK New-Exhibitor Seminar

My colleagues and I from the Children’s Apparel Consulting Group will be presenting a seminar at the August 2014 ENK Children’s Club show for new exhibitors. The event is designed to help those who are new to the wholesale children’s wear market in general or Children’s Club in particular make the most of their market experience. The seminar will build on the tip sheets the Children’s Apparel Consulting Group created exclusively for ENK, which new exhibitors received prior to the show.

Making it in Children’s Wear

I teamed up with Francesca Sammaritano, Assistant Professor (specialized in children’s wear), for our second children’s wear panel at Parsons The New School for Design on April 3, 2014. The event served to educate our fashion and marketing students and entrepreneurs on the realities and opportunities that exist within this market.

Panelists included: Nicole Yee, children’s editor at Stylesight; Bronagh Staley, owner of the Sweet William boutiques; Lynn Meyer, owner of the Lynn Meyer showroom; Charlotte Guess, freelance designer; Lisa Dinapoli, vice president of children’s wear at Tommy Hilfiger, Lynn Husum, co-owner of Appaman and Sion Betesh, executive vice president of licensing and marketing at Parigi Group.

Type questions what is levitra the strangest for me. The dogs running speak about it to everyone. Moles always against such works but them no who asks. Offensively probably..
