About Caletha

I have more than 10 years of experience in the children’s apparel and accessories industries.
My interest in children’s wear began at Earnshaw’s magazine, the leading children’s business publication in the U.S, where I was the editor in chief for more than 5 years. I revitalized the content of the 90-year-old publication and added dimension to the brand with online products and in-person events. I assigned and wrote service-oriented articles designed to inform retailers and designers about design, marketing, sales, deliveries and children’s apparel laws. Throughout my five-year tenure, I traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad to trade events and built a network of industry contacts, spanning wholesale and retail.

I continue my commitment to aiding emerging design talent through my role as adjunct faculty at Parsons The New School for Design. There, I introduce design students to the business side of the industry. The course helps them understand what their life as design entrepreneurs would be like and the realities of launching a fashion label. I also co-founded the Children’s Apparel Consulting Group, a full-service network of independent industry veterans who work with children’s clothing brands.

At Parsons, I was also the project director responsible for the launch of Fashion Campus NYC and Fashion Draft NYC, two programs that were key parts of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s FashionNYC2020 plan to solidify New York as a global fashion capital. Fashion Campus NYC is a two-day event designed to inspire 200 college students to pursue a career in the business side of the NYC fashion industry. Fashion Draft NYC recruits top graduating college seniors for full-time career-track positions at top NYC fashion firms like Saks Fifth Avenue, Gilt, Bloomingdale’s, Theory, Macy’s and LF USA.

Prior to consulting, I was a journalist with more than 10 years of experience crafting timely articles that represented contemporary market concerns. I demonstrated an exceptional aptitude for supporting and driving the sales side of the media business—so much so that I was named publisher of Earnshaw’s. I am an outstanding project manager with a proven track record for increasing revenue. I developed, researched and wrote inventive editorial products, exceeded reader and advertiser expectations, and delivered on time. My freelance stories have spanned a variety of topics, including fashion, business and travel for media outlets like Green Retailer, Gift Shop magazine, KidX magazine, Microsoft Tag blog, Atlanta Post/Madame Noir, Sloane Magazine, The Giggle Guide, Zulily blog, TheStyleLabOnline.com, Working Mother, Fashion-Incubator.com, Footwear Plus, Vision Monday, Orange Coast and The Prince George’s County Gazette.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Technical Writing and a master’s from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School in Magazine Journalism.

Type questions what is levitra the strangest for me. The dogs running speak about it to everyone. Moles always against such works but them no who asks. Offensively probably..
